After falling to unranked Kentucky at home last week, No. 12 Ole Miss has to visit Williams-Brice Stadium for another tricky SEC matchup against South Carolina. The Gamecocks have quietly put together a nice start to the season and are a couple plays away from being 4-0.

Ole Miss got off to a fast start this season, going 4-0 and pummeling each of those opponents. Then the Wildcats came to Oxford, and their defense threw a wrench into one of the most explosive offenses in the country. Prior to that matchup, Ole Miss was averaging 55 points per game. In the loss to Kentucky, it scored just 17.

Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart was under duress too frequently, but the running game is what struggled the most. Ole Miss ran the ball 29 times for just 92 yards, and that has to get better on the road against South Carolina.

South Carolina should be well-rested after a much-needed bye week. Starting quarterback LaNorris Sellers suffered an ankle injury in the team's Week 3 loss to LSU, and he is back at practice this week as the Gamecocks prepare for the Rebels. Sellers, a redshirt freshman, has totaled 538 yards and five touchdowns on the season.

If the Gamecocks are going hand the Rebels their second straight upset, the pass-rush duo of Kyle Kennard and Dylan Stewart will have to continue their hot start. Those two have combined for eight sacks and 18 total tackles.
