OK, sure, Duke vs. Wisconsin in Indianapolis for the NCAA Tournament championship seems like a pretty big deal, but it pales in comparison to the Badgers' and Blue Devils' lone meeting on the gridiron ... in the immortal 1995 Hall of Fame Bowl.

All right, so maybe Wisconsin's 34-20 victory hasn't gone down as an all-time classic, but it's still noteworthy as Barry Alvarez's follow-up bowl appearance after the Badgers' stunning run to the 1994 Rose Bowl, and as the only Duke postseason game between the 1989 All-American Bowl (under Steve Spurrier!) and 2012 Belk Bowl. Blue Devils' coach Fred Goldsmith coaxed the Devils to a 8-3 regular season mark and celebrated by wearing the most 1994 outfit possible on the Tampa sidelines, as you'll see in this highlight clip:

Maybe it wasn't quite as exciting as Monday night's showdown on the hardwood promises to be, but the game-icing 49-yard Terrell Fletcher touchdown is worth a watch. If you're struggling to kill the endless hours until the Badgers and Devils tip off, there's worse ways to spend them.
