Who's Playing

UCLA @ USC

Current Records: UCLA 6-4; USC 4-5

What to Know

The USC Trojans have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. The Trojans and the UCLA Bruins will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 4 p.m. ET Saturday at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. UCLA should still be riding high after a big victory, while USC will be looking to get back in the win column.

The matchup between USC and the Arizona State Sun Devils two weeks ago was not particularly close, with USC falling 31-16. USC's only offensive touchdown came on a rush from QB Jaxson Dart.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Parker Lewis delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

Meanwhile, the Colorado Buffaloes typically have all the answers at home, but last week the Bruins proved too difficult a challenge. UCLA put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 44-20 win. UCLA's QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson did his thing and accumulated 257 passing yards in addition to rushing for one TD and 99 yards.

The Trojans are expected to lose this next one by 3.5. Those sticking with them against the spread have guts, to put it politely, as the squad has let down bettors in their past four games.

USC is now 4-5 while UCLA sits at 6-4. Two defensive stats to keep an eye on: USC is 211th worst in the nation in rushing touchdowns allowed, with 19 on the season. The Bruins are completely their equal: they are stumbling into the contest with the 211th most rushing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up 19 on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
