USC vs. UCLA updates: Live NCAA Football game scores, results for Saturday
Live scores, highlights and updates from the USC vs. UCLA football game
The USC Trojans have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. USC and the UCLA Bruins will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday at United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. UCLA will be strutting in after a win while the Trojans will be stumbling in from a loss.
Two weeks ago, USC lost to the Arizona State Sun Devils on the road by a decisive 31-16 margin. USC's only offensive touchdown came on a rush from QB Jaxson Dart.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Parker Lewis delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
Meanwhile, UCLA took their game against the Colorado Buffaloes last week by a conclusive 44-20 score. It was another big night for the Bruins' QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who accumulated 257 passing yards in addition to rushing for one TD and 99 yards.
The Trojans are expected to lose this next one by 3. Now might not be the best time to take USC against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past four consecutive games.
USC is now 4-5 while UCLA sits at 6-4. Two defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: USC is stumbling into the contest with the 212th most rushing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up 19 on the season. The Bruins are completely their equal: they are 212th worst in the nation in rushing touchdowns allowed, with 19 on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
