Tennessee and Nike promised a splashy debut for the Volunteers' new uniforms and delivered as expected Wednesday. Via the Vols' official Twitter feed and Facebook page, have a look at Nike's first effort with the team's road uniforms:
And here's the new (if largely unaltered) home unis and helmets. The checkerboard across the back of the lid is a nice, nice touch:
Last but not least -- that helmet is "fire," as the kids say -- here's the Vols' #SmokeyGray alternates:
