Kentucky's new secondary logo has drawn all kinds of reviews, including an apt comparison to a staple remover, but I think eventually we will calm down and associate this new look with the program without too much cognitive dissonance.

The Wildcats football team has used a chrome alternate helmet in recent years with the interlocking "UK," so it's not surprising to see that there have been some black and chrome helmets made with the new secondary logo.

But when will Kentucky wear these shiny lids?

Wildcats fans may want to see the new helmets for the Louisville game, but I think the key here is kickoff time. Chrome and black helmets look fantastic under the lights, so our hope is to see Kentucky wearing one of these alternates for one of the primetime kickoffs. With no Thursday or Friday night games on the 2016 schedule, here are the matchups that seem the most primetime-friendly and therefore the most likely opportunities to wear these helmets:

Oct 1: at Alabama

Oct. 22: vs. Mississippi State

Nov. 5: vs. Georgia

Nov. 26: at Louisville
