The line for the Notre Dame-Florida State game Saturday night has been taken off the board by several Las Vegas sportsbooks.

Uncertainty over the availability of Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston is the likely reason. The school is reportedly looking into whether Winston, last season's Heisman Trophy winner, was paid for autographs that have appeared on a large number of memorabilia.

Florida State opened as a 13 1/2-point favorite in the matchup of top-five teams.

"It doesn't make sense to keep it up right now," said Jay Kornegay, vice president of race and sports at the Westgate SuperBook, in an interview with ESPN. "You're only going to drive one-way action [to Notre Dame], so we're taking the cautious approach and see what happens."

Without Winston, Kornegay told ESPN he thinks that Florida State may be only a 3- or 3.5-point favorite over the Irish.

The MGM and William Hill sports books also had the game off the board Tuesday, ESPN reported.
