The attorney for the woman who alleges Jameis Winston sexually assaulted her says the Florida State disciplinary hearing is scheduled for the week of Nov. 17.
"We have been advised by Florida State that the hearing on Mr. Winston's code of conduct violations for sexual assault will be held the week of the 17th of November," attorney John Clune told USA Today. "We have advised the school that we are available and will be ready to proceed."
The hearing will be conducted by former Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Major Harding, who will be tasked with determining whether Winston's alleged actions violated any of the four sections of Florida State's student conduct code.
Both Winston and the alleged victim will be present for the hearing and both will be allowed to have an adviser present, but the advisers will not be allowed to speak unless directed to by Harding.
The hearing will occur two days after Florida State travels south to take on Miami. FSU will have two regular-season games remaining after the hearing, Nov. 22 against Boston College and Nov. 29 against Florida.
