Next season a Colorado State running back will have some big shoes to fill, as Kapri Bibbs took to Twitter on Sunday to announce that he was leaving school to enter the NFL Draft.

Bibbs had a monster season for the Rams in 2013, finishing 1,741 rushing yards and 31 rushing touchdowns. Bibbs became only the third running back in NCAA history to rush for 30 touchdowns or more in a season. The other two were Wisconsin's Montee Ball and some dude who went to Oklahoma State named Barry Sanders. That's pretty good company.

Bibbs still has two years of eligibility remaining, but is eligible to leave school because he is three years removed from high school. And while running backs aren't drafted as early as they used to be in the NFL, I've always been of the opinion that if a college running back can go pro, he should go pro as soon as possible.

There are only so many carries in those legs.
