College football scores, NCAA top 25 rankings, Week 15: Alabama rolls again, USC survives UCLA upset bid
NCAA football scores and highlights from the teams in action during Week 15 of the 2020 season
A couple of the nation's remaining unbeaten college football teams needed late-game heroics in order to stay undefeated Saturday, but No. 1 Alabama was not among them. On a day when No. 13 Coastal Carolina and No. 15 USC won their games with dramatic touchdowns in the final minute, the Crimson Tide systematically obliterated Arkansas 52-3.
The victory likely assured the Crimson Tide a spot in the College Football Playoff, although Alabama surely wouldn't mind beating Florida in next week's SEC title game to polish off its resume before the CFP's final selections the following day. With a solid but not overwhelming 443 yards of total offense, it was actually the defense that stood out as the Crimson Tide improved to 10-0 while allowing just 188 total yards against the Razorbacks.

Defense wasn't a strong suit for USC on Saturday night, but the Trojans outlasted rival UCLA 43-38 anyway despite being outgained 549-444. USC had already punched its ticket to next week's Pac-12 title game, but the Trojans' third late comeback win of the season improved their record to 5-0 and will have USC fans wondering what could have been if this team had been able to play a full schedule.

Goodness. The football gods must like Clay Helton, because USC just pulled off a thriller vs. UCLA 43-38 to improve to 5-0. Will be 6-0 if it wins the Pac-12 title game next week. Third victory in such dramatic fashion for USC this season.
It didn't look like a great slate of games on paper entering the weekend. But here we are with our second game involving a ranked team going down to the wire as USC clings to a 36-35 lead over UCLA with 3:26 left.
Final: LSU 37, Florida 34
Wow. Somehow, someway, LSU pulls out a stunning upset of the Gators in the Swamp. Game of the year in the SEC, but it really diminishes the meaning of the SEC title game. Going to be hard for a two-loss Florida team to make its case even if it beats Alabama.
Wow. Just wow.
This play extended LSU's drive after Florida came up with a huge stop. End result? A 57-yarder through the fog from Cade York to put LSU up 37-34 with 23 seconds left.
Looks like BYU-San Diego State will be high entertainment to cap off the night.
Down to the wire
Florida and LSU are now tied at 34 with 2:51 left after McPherson's 31-yarder with 2:51 left. Tigers getting the ball back.
Meanwhile, USC just picked off DTR and has the ball in Bruins territory down 35-30 with 10 minutes to go.
Heisman moment?
Florida trails LSU 34-31 midway through the fourth quarter as fog settles in in Gainesville. The SEC title game would lose a lot of luster if the Gators can't get it done. Florida is punting from its own end zone, but if it Kyle Trask gets the ball back and it's a possession game, this could be his big moment.
On the cusp
It's far from over, but the Bruins are on the cusp of a huge win under Chip Kelly. Curious to see how the narrative changes around the two coaches in this game based on this outcome. Trojans are going to the Pac-12 title game either way, but this loss would not go over well.
Trojans still in it
USC just hit on this one and is getting the ball back now with plenty of time still to go in the third quarter. Don't forget, the Trojans have already pulled a couple of ridiculous late victories out of their back pocket this season.
LSU has done a great job of keeping Florida at bay here. But after going FG + 3-and-out to start the third quarter, it feels like LSU's offense might be running out of creative ways to get things done. But the Tigers still lead 27-24 with 5:16 left in 3Q as the Gators take over.
UCLA opens the third quarter with a seven play, 75-yard drive. Bruins have won the line of scrimmage all night. USC is in trouble here down 28-10.
Bruins up 11
Huge drive to end the half as the Bruins go 75 yards on 11 plays to take a 21-10 lead on USC into half.
USC was down 14-0 but Drake London is an avatar
LSU!
It's officially getting weird in Gainesville. LSU takes the lead here and then strips Kyle Trask -- his third turnover of the night -- to set up a FG that gives the Tigers a 24-17 lead entering half.
UCLA!
The Bruins are up 14-0 now after Dorian Thompson-Robinson's second TD pass of the half. He's 10 of 11 through the air. UCLA in great shape vs. the No. 15 Trojans midway through 2Q.
USC down early
The No. 15 Trojans clinched the Pac-12 South with Colorado's loss earlier today. They trail 7-0 late in 1Q vs. crosstown rival UCLA.
LSU hanging tough
There wasn't much reason for optimism, given how depleted this defense is tonight against the vaunted Florida offense. But the Tigers probably feel like they have a chance after this INT.
Even early
Impressive scoring drive from LSU to tie it up 7-7 with Florida early. But just remember that Arkansas played Alabama close for about a quarter earlier as well, and that didn't turn too prettyl
North Carolina blows past Miami 62-26. Running backs Michael Carter and Javonte Williams had the most rushing yards by teammates in a game in FBS history with 537 yards on the ground. Just a poor defensive effort overall by the Hurricanes. Guys were out of position all night. But, man, the Tar Heels have a couple of future pros in that backfield. They're both over 1,000 yards on the ground now.
Final: No. 22 Oklahoma State 42, Baylor 3
Just a dominant effort for Oklahoma State against the depleted Bears. Yardage difference: 608-156.
Iowa is pulling away late from Wisconsin. Consider this: the Hawkeyes lost their first two games against Purdue and Northwestern by a combined five points. Kirk Ferentz, who was the center of a tumultuous offseason, has this team closing in on 6-2. Good season in Iowa City.
Historically bad
As North Carolina goes ahead 55-26 with 11 minutes left, this has officially become a historically bad outing for Miami's defense.
Gonna be rough
Hanging with Florida was already going to be a challenge. That will especially be the case with this much youth on the field tonight for LSU's defense.
