The Week 2 college football schedule got underway Friday night with a pair of upsets as BYU (+12) beat SMU and Duke (+2) beat Northwestern in double overtime. That sets the stage for Saturday, which kicks off at noon ET, and a massive matchup between No. 3 Texas and No. 10 Michigan is in the first time slot. The latest Week 2 college football odds via SportsLine consensus list the Longhorns as 7-point road favorites.

Other Saturday matchups of note include No. 14 Tennessee vs. No. 24 NC State (+9) in Charlotte and Deion Sanders and Colorado (+6.5) at Nebraska, with both those matchups beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. Before locking in any Week 2 college football picks on those games or others, be sure to see the college football betting guide from legendary Vegas handicapper Bruce Marshall

Top college football predictions for Week 2

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 2: He's backing Arkansas (+10) against Oklahoma State in a noon ET kickoff in Stillwater.

This line has moved around a good bit, with Arkansas moving closer to a touchdown underdog earlier in the week. Later action on the Cowboys has moved it back to a double-digit spread, and Marshall loves the value on a Razorbacks team that has thrived in this spot. Arkansas is 17-9 ATS as an underdog under head coach Sam Pittman, dating back to 2020. The Razorbacks excel at keeping games close. Even in last year's extremely disappointing 4-8 campaign, only three of those losses were by double digits.

Offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino is expected to revamp his side of the ball, and the upside was on display last week in a 70-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Marshall is backing the Razorbacks ATS and sees this one going over (62.5) the total as well. See which other picks to make here
