76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Posts 22 points in blowout loss
Maxey supplied 22 points (7-14 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one block in 40 minutes during Sunday's 128-96 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Maxey looked more like he did in Game 1 during Sunday's loss, recording only 22 points after going for 29 points in Game 2 and 31 points in Game 3. A massive total from the star point guard hasn't been enough to beat the Celtics, and a regressive total like Sunday's effort won't help matters as they try to find their way out of this series. Maxey converted 50 percent of his shots and was very consistent, but the team will need an explosive total from Maxey in Game 5 to avoid elimination.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Game-high 31 points in loss
Maxey amassed 31 points (12-31 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal across 42 minutes in Friday's 108-100 Game 3 loss to the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
Maxey didn't deliver his most efficient performance and missed three triples in the final 30 seconds of this one, though he still racked up a game-high 31 points. He has yet to score fewer than 21 points in this first-round series but is shooting just 39.2 percent from the field through three games. Maxey and the Sixers will now aim to even things up in Game 4 on Sunday before heading back to Boston for Game 5.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Drops 29 points in win
Maxey provided 29 points (11-28 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 victory over Boston in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Maxey and VJ Edgecombe combined for 59 points as the 76ers leveled this series at one win apiece. While his counting stats have been solid thus far, Maxey is shooting 39.6 percent from the field through two playoff games.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Near double-double in Game 1 loss
Maxey logged 21 points (8-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight assists and one rebound over 37 minutes during the 76ers' 123-91 loss to the Celtics in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series Sunday.
Maxey scored 14 of his team-high 21 points in the first half, though he connected on just five of 14 field-goal attempts in that span. The Sixers' offense struggled in Game 1, with Maxey being the only player on the team to score 20-plus points, and he also got his teammates involved with a game high in assists. He is going to be the engine to the Sixers' offense, especially in the absence of Joel Embiid (appendectomy).

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Powers 76ers to victory
Maxey finished with 31 points (11-25 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), two rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 109-97 Play-In Game victory over Orlando.
Maxey continued his dominant season, scoring a game-high 31 points, lifting the 76ers to an emphatic victory. Despite being without Joel Embiid (appendicitis), Philadelphia was able to get the job done over a disappointing Magic outfit. Although Boston will go into the first-round series as firm favorites, Maxey will certainly be giving it his all in the hopes of causing an upset.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Paces Philadelphia in win
Maxey tallied 31 points (11-25 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block across 42 minutes in Wednesday's 109-97 win over the Magic in the Play-In Tournament.
Maxey didn't deliver his most efficient performance but still recorded a team-high 31 points to help Philadelphia secure the seventh seed in the East. Including the regular season, the star point guard has dropped 30-plus points in two of his last three games and 29 times on the campaign. He also dished out a game-high six assists Wednesday. The 76ers are now set to face the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Pulled early in easy win
Maxey produced 21 points (8-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 27 minutes during Sunday's 126-106 win over Milwaukee.
Maxey put together a team-leading 21 points with only 27 minutes of court time. The 76ers wisely let Maxey sit after a productive first half, as the team needs the elite point guard at his best in Tuesday's Play-In Game against Orlando. Maxey enjoyed a spectacular sixth season, averaging 28.3 points, 6.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals over 70 games.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Logs 32 points in Friday's win
Maxey posted 32 points (11-28 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 9-10 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals over 39 minutes during the 76ers' 105-94 win over the Pacers on Friday.
Maxey struggled mightily from deep, but he still paced the Sixers with a game-high 32 points, with 12 of those points coming in the third quarter. It was his 28th 30-plus-point game of the season but the first since March 7 against the Hawks. Since returning March 28 from a 10-game absence due to a finger injury, Maxey has averaged 24.0 points, 6.6 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 threes over 37.5 minutes per contest. Maxey briefly left Friday's game after appearing to injure his right hand, which will be worth monitoring ahead of the Sixers' regular-season finale against the Bucks on Sunday.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Returns to Friday's contest
Maxey (hand) returned to Friday's game against Indiana, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Maxey appeared to suffer a right hand injury after going for a loose ball. He briefly exited to the locker room, although it appears he avoided a serious injury. Still, with only one more game left in the regular season after Friday's contest, Maxey might find himself on the injury report heading into Sunday's meeting with Milwaukee, at least for precautionary reasons.

Maxey went to the locker room due to an apparent injury to his right hand during the third quarter of Friday's game against the Pacers, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Drops team-high 23 in loss
Maxey accumulated a team-high 23 points (9-20 FG, 5-10 3Pt), three rebounds and five assists over 33 minutes during Thursday's 113-102 loss to the Rockets.
The 25-year-old guard was one of three Sixers to score at least 20 points on the night, but it wasn't quite enough to keep pace with the home squad. Maxey has been productive since returning in late March from a finger injury, and over seven games since getting back in the lineup, he's averaging 22.9 points, 6.9 assists, 4.1 boards and 2.1 threes.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Struggles with shot Monday
Maxey recorded 15 points (6-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and eight assists in 40 minutes during Monday's 115-102 loss to San Antonio.
It's the first time in six games since Maxey returned from a finger injury that he's failed to score more than 20 points. During that stretch, the 25-year-old guard is averaging 22.7 points, 7.2 assists, 4.3 boards, 1.7 threes and 1.3 combined blocks and steals, but he's shooting just 31.3 percent from three-point range.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Near double-double vs. Washington
Maxey provided 28 points (12-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 153-131 victory over the Wizards.
Maxey didn't have the most efficient night from three-point range, but he was scoring effectively inside the arc and finished as the 76ers' second-leading scorer behind Paul George (39 points). Maxey was one assist shy from logging his eighth double-double of the season (and first since Feb. 26), but he has dished out at least eight dimes in each of his three outings since returning from a 10-game absence due to a finger injury. Since his return, the two-time All-Star has averaged 25.7 points, 8.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 threes over 40.3 minutes per game.
