Timme made the most of the opportunity off the bench in his season debut with the Nets and recorded an efficient double-double. Given the rebuilding stage of the franchise, Timme could see decent playing time in the final weeks of the regular season. However, that shouldn't translate to a lot of fantasy upside, especially if he continues to play off the bench.

Nets' Drew Timme: Receives two-year deal

Timme agreed to a two-year contract with the Nets on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Timme has been one of the top scorers in the G League in 2024-25, averaging 20.0 points to go with 9.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.2 three-pointers in 43 appearances between the Stockton Kings and Long Island Nets. After recently turning in a career-best 50-point outing for Long Island, he'll get an NBA contract and could end up seeing minutes in the Brooklyn frontcourt late in the season.
The Kings signed Timme to an Exhibit 10 contract Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Timme was part of the Kings' roster in the Summer League this year, but this signing doesn't mean Sacramento is looking for frontcourt depth. Timme is expected to be waived in the coming days and should report to the Stockton Kings of the G League ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Timme played for the Kings during the California Classic Summer League but was listed on Toronto's roster for the Las Vegas Summer League. However, he'll remain with the Kings in Las Vegas and will be replaced by Fardaws Aimaq on the Raptors' roster.

Timme recorded six points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and two blocks in 19 minutes during Sunday's 85-59 win over the Spurs in the California Classic Summer League.
Timme is slated to join the Raptors' Summer League roster for the Las Vegas Summer League that begins Friday. However, he'll likely remain with Sacramento for the team's games Tuesday and Wednesday to close out the California Classic Summer League. Timme missed the end of the 2023-24 season after undergoing foot surgery, but he has a chance to showcase his skill set this summer.
Timme signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Bucks on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Timme was among the best collegiate big men over the past few seasons at Gonzaga, but he went undrafted Thursday. He averaged 21.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 31.5 minutes per game during his senior season with the Bulldogs and will now compete for a role with the Bucks ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
