What to Know

The Winthrop Eagles will be returning home after a four-game road trip. They will take on the Hartford Hawks at 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday at Winthrop Coliseum. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Winthrop has to be feeling especially confident now that the spread is in their favor.

After constant struggles on the road, the Eagles have finally found some success away from home. They came out on top against the Washington Huskies by a score of 82-74 this past Saturday. Winthrop can attribute much of their success to forward D.J. Burns Jr., who had 24 points along with nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Hartford came up short against the App. State Mountaineers on Monday, falling 69-59.
