The Syracuse Orange will be returning home after a two-game road trip. 'Cuse and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will face off in an ACC battle at 8 p.m. ET this past Saturday at Carrier Dome. Wake Forest will be strutting in after a win while the Orange will be stumbling in from a defeat.
'Cuse received a tough blow last week as they fell 64-53 to the Pittsburgh Panthers. Forward Jimmy Boeheim had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 36 minutes but putting up just eight points on 3-for-10 shooting.
Meanwhile, Wake Forest made easy work of the Boston College Eagles last Monday and carried off an 87-57 victory. Five players on Wake Forest scored in the double digits: guard Alondes Williams (20), guard Daivien Williamson (12), forward Jake LaRavia (11), forward Khadim Sy (10), and forward Dallas Walton (10).
Barring any buzzer beaters, the Orange are expected to win a tight contest. Now might not be the best time to take 'Cuse against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.
