The reigning national champs are off to a terrific start this season. Their win earlier this week on the road vs. Purdue is the best road win for any team in America so far (through one week in the season). Nova's four wins have come by an average of 18 points.

This team is looking really good.

And the start was punctuated Friday afternoon during Nova's 96-77 win over Wake Forest. You're about to see the dunk of the season so far, provided by VU sophomore Jalen Brunson. Wow, this is vicious. Thoughts and prayers go out to Wake's John Collins. Poor guy just got caught in the crossfire.

Who knew Brunson had that kind of hop and fire in him? Love it. Nova was led in scoring by Josh Hart's 30 points. Brunson had 11 points and six dimes.

On Sunday in the Charleston Classic, Nova will play in the championship game. It awaits the winner of Charleston-UCF, which tips Friday night at 9:30.
