JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) KyKy Tandy had 19 points in Jacksonville State's 79-68 win over Sam Houston on Thursday night.
Tandy shot 7 for 13 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free throw line for the Gamecocks (12-12, 4-5 Conference USA). Juwan Perdue scored 15 points and added nine rebounds. Marcellus Brigham Jr. shot 3 for 6 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 8 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points.
Cameron Huefner led the way for the Bearkats (13-11, 6-3) with 15 points. Damon Nicholas Jr. added 12 points and three steals for Sam Houston. Lamar Wilkerson also had 12 points.
