Who's Playing
TCU @ Seton Hall
Regular Season Records: TCU 20-12; Seton Hall 21-10
What to Know
The Seton Hall Pirates and the TCU Horned Frogs are set to clash at 9:57 p.m. ET March 18 at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Pirates came up short against the Connecticut Huskies last week, falling 62-52. Guard Jared Rhoden had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only seven points on 2-for-13 shooting in his 33 minutes on the court.
Meanwhile, the game between TCU and the Kansas Jayhawks last Friday was not a total blowout, but with TCU falling 75-62, it was darn close to turning into one. Despite the loss, the Horned Frogs got a solid performance out of forward Chuck O'Bannon Jr., who had 15 points in addition to seven rebounds.
Barring any buzzer beaters, Seton Hall is expected to win a tight contest Friday. Now might not be the best time to take Seton Hall against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
