Aquille Carr was arrested Friday and charged with assault and reckless endangerment, the Baltimore Sun is reporting.

Carr, one of the most exciting high school basketball players in the country, is being held on $50,000 bond after being arrested at 8 a.m. Friday. Police gave no details to the Sun aside from the second-degree assault charge.

The 5-foot-6 guard committed to Seton Hall earlier this year, and is ranked as the No. 53 overall prospect in the class of 2013 by CBSSports.com. It is unclear where Carr will attend high school this season, as he originally planned to transfer to St. Patrick (N.J.) but has since said he plans to return to Baltimore. He went to Patterson (Md.) last year.

He is also expected to play in the Elite 24 event in Venice Beach, Calif. next week.
