The #9 Villanova Wildcats are 10-3 against the Creighton Bluejays since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Villanova is on the road again on Friday and plays against Creighton at 8 p.m. ET Dec. 17 at CHI Health Center Omaha. The teams split their matchups last year, with the Bluejays winning the first 86-70 at home and the Wildcats taking the second 72-60.

A win for Villanova just wasn't in the stars on Sunday as the team never even grasped a temporary lead. Things couldn't have gone much worse for them as they lost 57-36 to the Baylor Bears. Guard Justin Moore (15 points) was the top scorer for Villanova.

Meanwhile, Creighton was just a bucket short of a victory on Tuesday and fell 58-57 to the Arizona State Sun Devils. Forward Ryan Hawkins had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with only six points on 2-for-12 shooting in his 32 minutes on the court.

The Wildcats are the favorite in this one, with an expected 6.5-point margin of victory. They have been consistent moneymakers against the spread when favored (5-2), so they might be worth a quick bet.

These two teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses this week. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
