The updated college basketball rankings from the sport's coaches have been shaken up near the top after a weekend that saw Kansas build its argument as a top-five team with a double-digit win at West Virginia. The Jayhawks were tested -- albeit briefly -- in Morgantown, but a big night in the paint helped Bill Self's team earn yet another win as it heads towards a potential No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Auburn, meanwhile, dropped two spots from No. 2 to No. 4 after its loss in Gainesville, opening the door for Arizona to leapfrog No. 3 Kentucky, which won against Alabama, for the No. 2 spot. The coaches also swapped Duke out of the No. 5 spot following its week of wins against Wake Forest and Florida State, pushing Kansas up and leaving the Blue Devils at No. 6. Gonzaga, as expected, remained the unanimous No. 1 with all 32 first-place votes.
Elsewhere in the Coaches Poll, this week saw Wisconsin move up four spots to No. 12, Arkansas moving up six spots to No. 18 and UConn strengthening its position up for spots to No. 20. Baylor, Tennessee and Michigan State all fell after losses, but remain ranked and within five spots of their original position.
