Arizona clinched the regular-season Pac-12 title outright in a dominating performance at USC on Tuesday night. The Wildcats remain on the top line of the bracket as the No. 3 overall seed after the win. Wisconsin, meanwhile, captured a share of Big Ten title with a win over Purdue on a shot by Chucky Hepburn with 1.5 seconds to go. The Badgers can win the title outright on Sunday at home against Nebraska or if Illinois loses before then.

Nebraska is not going away quietly, though. The Cornhuskers upset Ohio State in Columbus on Tuesday night to knock the Buckeyes two seed lines down the bracket. Ohio State is now a 7-seed after having lost back-to-back games to teams near the bottom of the Big Ten.

TCU picked up a big win over Kansas on Tuesday and has now joined the Buckeyes on the 7-line, albeit from a different direction. Tuesday's game was the front-end of a doubleheader between TCU and Kansas with the rematch set for Phog Allen Fieldhouse on Thursday. Despite the loss, Kansas remains a 2-seed. The Jayhawks are among five teams that could be 1-seeds, but there is only room for four.

Providence was not so fortunate on Tuesday. The Friars lost again to Villanova as the Wildcats completed the season sweep. Providence was displaced as a 2-seed by Kentucky, which was the top No. 3 and victorious on Tuesday against Mississippi.

Boise State clinched the Mountain West regular-season title on Tuesday night also, and the Broncos moved up to a 7-seed after their win over Nevada.

While I am mentioning teams that have clinched conference championships, I do not mean to imply that information is important to the committee. I just think championships should be noted. The committee places no emphasis whatsoever on conference performance beyond needing to know which team is the automatic qualifier.

There are some more key games ahead on Wednesday night, particularly in the SEC. Auburn hits the road again to take on Mississippi State, while LSU travels to face one of the hottest teams in the country at the moment in Arkansas

In the Big East, UConn will play at Creighton. The Bluejays are looking to prove they are still tournament-worthy, even without star freshman Ryan Nembhard, who is out for the season with an injured wrist.
