    Analysis

    Grand finale for MLB props and it will be a two-way play involving the Miami Marlins. Robert Stock for the first time this season is seeing an opponent twice on the year. Expect a different result after he pitched well for five innings against Miami earlier this season. The Marlins perform better at home as is showcased with their 43-31 home record. The forty three wins are the most for a non first place team in MLB, and they are looking to avoid being swept at home. Split play here on Otto Lopez and Kyle Stowers who is hitting in the lead off spot tonight.

    Analysis

    Texas has scored at least six runs in six of its last eight games. The Rangers are in a spot to pour it on again in Seattle against rookie Kade Anderson. Through three starts, the left-hander has a 5.40 ERA and the Rangers’ .946 OPS vs. left-handers the last two weeks tops MLB. The Mariners’ bullpen, with a 5.45 ERA in that same span, doesn’t offer a ton of relief.

    Analysis

    So I think the rest of MLB season I'm going to be incredibly particular -- has worked on parlays this week in the newsletter and CBS Sports betting. I'll always double-take at outlier lines, and this is clearly an alt at BetRivers (all of our others at 4.5 and leaning slightly Under). It's Cards ace Andre Pallante and they are sitting Home Run Derby champ Jordan Walker (.282, 28 HR, 100 RBI). So if Giants starter Blake Tidwell can keep this to three runs over five I think this cashes as Pallante should largely keep the SF lineup in check -- which is without Rafael Devers. The full-game total is only 8.5.

    Analysis

    Andre Pallante owns a 2.41 ERA over his last seven starts. He’s only 2-0 in that stretch, but perhaps some run support is on the way. The Cards are hitting well on the road, scoring 4+ runs in six of the last seven (the lone blip was when Pallante last threw). Blade Tidwell has allowed six runs in his last two home starts and the SF bullpen has a 5.77 ERA the last two weeks.

    Analysis

    Kazuma Okamoto has homered in back-to-back games against the A's and he's in the lineup once again for this day game. The A's will use an opener, southpaw Brady Basso, giving us a great matchup early in the game, but even after he's pulled, I like Okamoto's chances of doing some damage. He's produced a hard contact rate above 50% against righties and at 60% against lefties, while continuing to lead the Jays in fly ball rate. This is one of the best hitting environments on the board today, and as we know this ballpark helps turn fly balls into home runs. Even a mere double would be fine though, so at plus odds I'll take the over!
