With the transfer window open and buzzing, we take a look at some of the transfer rumors and news around the world of soccer, from Major League Soccer to Europe.

Sneijder close to LAFC deal

Former Real Madrid, Chelsea and Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder is close to agreeing to a two-year deal with MLS newboys Los Angeles FC, according to ESPNFC.

The Netherlands man, who currently plays in Turkey with Galatasaray, has been offered a contract of $3.5 million per year, the report says.

Sneijder is 33 years old and could become the quick face of the franchise if a deal is completed. LAFC will begin play in MLS in 2018.

Sneijder, in his prime for Inter, was one of the best attacking midfielders in world soccer. The Dutch star has had a super successful career, winning a Champions League with Inter, titles with every club he's played for and was runner-up at the 2010 World Cup with his nation.

He would be a high-profile signing for MLS and instantly one of the best players in the league.

Martial not leaving United?

Manchester United's young Frenchman says reports of him leaving the club this summer are false. The former Monaco man took to Twitter, in French writing "The rumors are false."

He played 18 Premier League matches last summer but has been linked with a move away, possibly to Spain or back to France. But for now, it looks like he's staying.
