Klapka was reassigned to AHL Calgary on Wednesday.
Klapka's demotion comes as Samuel Honzek (upper body) was activated off injured reserve in a corresponding move. In his five NHL games this season, the 24-year-old Klapka failed to register a point while notching six shots, 18 hits and eight PIM. While the Czech winger can certainly add some value in the hits category, he doesn't offer enough offensive upside to warrant utilizing him in most formats.

Flames' Adam Klapka: Grabs two-way deal
Rotowire
Klapka inked a one-year, two-way contract with Calgary on Monday.
Klapka played in six NHL games for the Flames last year in which he generated one goal, four shots on net and 21 hits while averaging just 6:46 of ice time. In the minors, the 23-year-old was significantly more productive with 21 goals and 25 helpers in 65 regular-season tilts with the Wranglers. While Klapka figures to see more than the six games he did last year, he figures to again split his time between the NHL and AHL next year, making him a relative non-factor in fantasy contests.
