Jets' Kyle Connor: Season-opening streak at 9 games
Connor scored twice and added two assists in a 6-4 loss to Toronto on Monday.
Both goals came on the power play. Connor sits in a three-way tie with Mikko Rantanen and Nikita Kucherov for eighth on the NHL scoring list with 14 points (nine games). His eight goals are one shy of the NHL lead, held by Nico Hischier. Connor has tallied in every Winnipeg game this season, and he has propelled the Jets to an 8-1-0 start to the year. The 27-year-old is a fantasy juggernaut right now, and with this start, another 90-plus point season could be in the cards, health willing.

The 27-year-old has gotten onto the scoresheet in all eight of Winnipeg's games so far in 2024-25, piling up six goals and 10 points, and as long as he stays healthy, he should be able to deliver his third career 80-point campaign.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Nets game-winner Tuesday
Connor scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blues.
Connor has opened the season on a six-game point streak, earning five goals and an assist in that span. The winger is in peak form, and he's added 23 shots on net, five blocked shots and a plus-3 rating. That shakes out as a 21.7 shooting percentage, which is a little high, but not outrageous for a player who has finished five of his first eight NHL seasons above 15 percent. With the Jets starting the year 6-0-0, Connor's a good bellwether for the team's success.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Sets up game-winner
Connor notched the primary assist on the game-winning goal in overtime of Friday's 2-1 win against the Blackhawks.
Connor has points in consecutive games to start the season after setting up Mark Scheifele for the game-winner Friday. Connor fired three shots and added a plus-1 rating in 20:18 of ice time. The Michigan native hovered just under a point-per-game pace in 2023-24, but he missed 17 games due to injuries. Connor should be able to get back to the 80-point mark, which he accomplished in 2022-23, as long as he can stay healthy, as the left-shot forward is arguably Winnipeg's most dangerous offensive player.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Sets NHL record
Connor scored a power-play goal, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Oilers.
Connor set an NHL record by scoring in his seventh consecutive season-opening game. That's an impressive feat even for a player as consistent as the Michigan native, who has topped 30 goals in each of his full seasons except for the abbreviated 2020-21 campaign. While he was limited to 61 points in 65 games because of injuries last year, Connor will likely hover around a point-per-game pace in 2024-25 as long as he can stay healthy.

Jets' Kyle Connor: Tallies game-winner
Connor scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Friday's 3-2 preseason win over the Flames.
Connor scored a goal at 16:51 of the third period to break a 2-2 tie. With three goals in as many preseason outings, the 27-year-old winger is in fine form ahead of Opening Night. A knee injury in the middle of 2023-24 limited him to 32 goals and 61 points in 65 regular-season outings last year, but he should push for the 40-goal and 80-point marks if he can stay healthy in 2024-25.
