Small was elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's 30-14 loss versus the Packers, but he was ultimately a healthy scratch and didn't see the field in Week 3. There's no obvious reason for him to be elevated again in Week 4.

Small signed with the Titans' practice squad in late August after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Small's elevation provides insurance for Tennessee in case Tyjae Spears (ankle) is unable to play against Green Bay on Sunday.

Jabari Small: Lands on Tennessee's practice squad
The Titans signed Small to the practice squad Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Small signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. He worked behind Jaylen Wright at the University of Tennessee in his final season but still managed 475 yards on the ground while scoring two touchdowns. The Titans have only three backs on their roster, meaning Small could find his way to active status at some point this season.

The Titans waived Small on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Small sustained a concussion against the Seahawks on Aug. 17, but he was able to suit up for Sunday's preseason finale against the Saints. Small finished the preseason strong with 64 rushing yards on 10 carries while adding a 12-yard catch, but it wasn't enough to crack the Titans' 53-man roster. He could be invited back to Tennessee to join the practice squad.

Small took a blow to the head during Saturday's preseason game versus the Seahawks, and it turns out he did sustain a concussion as a result. The update makes it unlikely that he'll appear in the Titans' preseason finale at New Orleans.

Small is being evaluated for a concussion during Saturday's preseason matchup against the Seahawks, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Small headed to the locker room in the second half of the exhibition game and is being looked at by doctors. Prior to his departure, he rushed seven times for 13 yards and caught four of four targets for 24 yards. Small is considered a long shot make the Titans' 53-man roster.

Jabari Small: In line to join Tennessee as UDFA
Small is slated to sign with the Titans as an undrafted free agent, Nick Suss of the Nashville Tennessean reports.
Small, who played his college ball with the Tennessee Volunteers, is thus in line to compete for a depth role in a Titans backfield that is currently led by Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. This past season, Small worked behind 2024 fourth-rounder Jaylen Wright, carrying 95 times for 475 yards and two TDs, while adding seven catches in 11 games.
