Dolphins' Kader Kohou: Still nursing neck issue
Kohou (neck) didn't practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Kohou didn't play in the Dolphins' Week 8 loss to the Cardinals after likely sustaining a neck injury the week prior, and Wednesday's DNP suggests he could be in jeopardy of missing even more time. He'll likely need to practice in a limited capacity either Thursday or Friday in order to play in Week 9, when the Dolphins travel to Buffalo.

Dolphins' Kader Kohou: Unavailable for Week 8
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that Kohou (neck) is ruled out for Sunday's game against Arizona, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Kohou, Miami's top nickel cornerback, will be forced to miss his first game of the season due to a neck injury. Nik Needham will be a candidate to fill in for Kohou versus the Cardinals on Sunday and for as long as the starting slot corner remains sidelined.

Kohou (neck) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's injury report, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Kohou logged one tackle and two pass breakups during the Dolphins' Week 7 loss to the Colts, but he appears to have picked up a neck injury in the process. He'll have two more opportunities to return to the practice field ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Kohou has logged 17 tackles (13 solo), four pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery through the first six games of the regular season.

Kohou racked up 63 tackles (52 solo), 1.0 sacks and one fumble recovery across 17 regular-season appearances in 2023.
Kohou played a near every-down role for Miami during the first eight weeks of the season, but he became more of a rotational player as Jalen Ramsey's involvement grew down the stretch. Now heading into the final year of his contract with the Dolphins, Kohou still appears locked into a No. 2 or reserve role at cornerback for the 2024 campaign.
