Breshad Perriman: Time up in Indy
The Colts are slated to release Perriman on Monday, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Perriman joined forces with Indianapolis early June, but he will need to search for an opportunity at a depth role elsewhere. The 29-year-old wideout racked up less than 200 receiving yards in each of his last two seasons, both of which he spent in Tampa Bay.

Colts' Breshad Perriman: Earns deal with Indianapolis
The Colts signed Perriman on Monday.
Perriman appears to have impressed during his recent workout with the Colts and will have a chance to compete for a Week 1 roster spot this offseason. The 2015 first-round pick caught just 20 of 37 targets for 277 yards and two scores over his past two seasons in Tampa Bay, but before that, he totaled 82 receptions for 1,490 yards and 11 touchdowns across three campaigns with three different teams (the Browns, Bucs and Jets). Beyond Michael Pittman (hip), Alec Pierce and Josh Downs (knee), there are no guarantees for Indianapolis' wideout depth chart.

Breshad Perriman: Works out with Indianapolis
Perriman worked out with the Colts on Friday and the team is contemplating signing him, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Perriman spent last season with the Buccaneers, where he caught nine of his 19 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in 11 games. The Colts could now add the 29-year-old to a receiver corps that currently lacks veteran depth behind Michael Pittman.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Inactive in wild-card loss
Perriman was inactive for Monday night's 31-14 wild-card loss to the Cowboys and finished the 2022 regular season with nine receptions (19 targets) for 110 yards and a touchdown, two rushes for minus-seven yards and two fumbles (one lost) across 11 games.
The veteran speedster put together a second consecutive modest season in Tampa Bay, and his inactive status for Monday night's loss was fitting considering he was a healthy scratch for five of the last seven contests overall. Perriman, an impending free agent once again, doesn't figure to command anything more than the veteran minimum on the open market, so it's conceivable he could make a return to the Buccaneers as a depth option for his age-29 season.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: One reception to close out season
Perriman brought in one of two targets for nine yards in the Buccaneers' 30-17 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Perriman made his first appearance on the stat sheet since Week 9 while seeing his highest allotment of playing time from scrimmage since Week 3 -- 31 snaps. The veteran wideout may not even garner active status in next Monday night's wild-card matchup against the Cowboys if recent history is any indication, however, as he was left off the gameday roster in four of the last six regular-season contests.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Remains healthy scratch Sunday
Perriman (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 17 clash against the Panthers, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
The veteran wideout continues to be left off the active roster in favor of fellow speedster Scotty Miller, who'll once again serve as the No. 5 wideout Sunday versus Carolina. Perriman's final chance to garner active status during the regular season comes in next Sunday's Week 18 road matchup versus the Falcons.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Won't suit up Sunday
Perriman (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Perriman won't suit up for a third straight game despite being healthy. It appears Deven Thompkins, who's mostly operated as a return man, has surpassed Perriman on the depth chart, though Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, Russell Gage and Scotty Miller figure to continue dominating the wideout snaps.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Healthy scratch again Week 14
Perriman (coach's decision) has been ruled inactive for Sunday's game versus the 49ers.
Perriman has totaled two receptions (on five targets) for 12 yards since Week 6, and he will now be ruled a healthy scratch for the second game in a row. With the Buccaneers' receiving corps back at full health, it's possible that Deven Thompkins could see an increased role after being elevated from the practice squad Saturday.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Healthy scratch for MNF
Perriman (coach's decision) has been ruled inactive for Monday's game against the Saints, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Perriman caught just two of four targets while playing 51 offensive snaps with Russell Gage (hamstring) sidelined for the last four games. With Gage back in action Week 13, it appears Perriman has found himself as the odd man out in Tampa Bay's wide receiver depth chart. His next chance to play will come against the 49ers on Sunday, though, barring further injuries to the Buccaneers' other wideouts, he's unlikely to see much usage moving forward.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: Targeted once in OT loss
Perriman failed to haul in his lone target while playing eight of the Buccaneers' 66 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-17 overtime loss to the Browns.
Even with Russell Gage (hamstring) missing his fourth game in a row, both Perriman and Scotty Miller (two snaps) were afterthoughts on offense, while Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones formed Tampa Bay's regular receiver trio. If Gage makes it back for the Buccaneers' Week 13 game against the Saints, one or both of Perriman and Miller could find himself on the inactive list.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: No targets over 18 snaps
Perriman logged 18 snaps on offense but did not draw a target during the Buccaneers' 21-16 win over the Seahawks in Week 10.
Perriman was once again outpaced by fellow reserve wideout Scotty Miller despite the latter playing on four fewer snaps. With just two receptions for 12 yards on four targets across a modest 55 snaps in his last five games, Perriman heads into the Week 11 bye with negligible fantasy value.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: One grab in Week 9 win
Perriman secured one of two targets for one yard in the Buccaneers' 16-13 win over the Rams on Sunday.
Perriman once again played a bit part in the air attack despite the absence of Russell Gage (hamstring), although he did log his most extensive snap count (22) since Week 3 during the contest. Scotty Miller notably logged eight targets and parlayed them into a 7-53 line over 33 snaps, so he seems to clearly be the preferred complementary option in the air attack.

Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: One catch in loss
Perriman secured his only target for 11 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-22 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
The veteran wideout logged only four snaps overall despite the absence of Russell Gage (hamstring), but he at least made his first appearance on the stat sheet since Week 3. Perriman is likely to continue to be a fantasy afterthought as long as Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are healthy, as even the absence of complementary wideouts such as Gage or Julio Jones seems to have had a negligible effect on Perriman's opportunity/production.
