Michael Vick is very fast. You know this, and it's not a secret. But, at age 32, it's fair to wonder if he can still get out on the field and hang with younger players in terms of pure speed.

We found out on Thursday: he can.

Shady, of course, is LeSean McCoy. McCoy's quite the speedster -- his joystick-esque moves on the field when he's carrying the ball are far from his only asset, because the guy can torch it down the field.

So to think that Vick at his age can beat McCoy in a 40-yard dash (and, by some accounts, beat him by five yards) is ridiculously impressive.

But maybe we should've seen it coming. After all, Vick ran a 4.33 40 at the combine; Shady's best time per NFLDraftScout.com was a 4.42.

That 4.33 is straight freak, y'all. But it might not even be as impressive as Vick shredding McCoy at the age of 32 (32's older than you think; I'm hitting that digit in a few months, and I'm already on a steady diet of glucosamine just to lumber along on the treadmill).
