If you've gone on the internet or talked to anyone over the past few months, then you've probably noticed that the presidential election is kind of a hot topic right now.

When it comes to the two candidates, there's really no in-between: If you support Donald Trump, then half the country hates you, and if you support Hillary Clinton, then the other half of the country hates you.

Tom Brady hasn't technically supported anyone yet that we know of, but half the country hates him anyway, and they're letting him know it on his Facebook page.

It all started on Monday night when Donald Trump told a crowd in New Hampshire that Brady had called him earlier in the day to give him some big news.

"Tom Brady called today. He said 'Donald I support you, you're my friend, I voted for you," Trump said.

At the time, Trump also said that he had the support of Patriots coach Bill Belichick, meaning Trump won the Belichick and Brady vote.

However, the big problem with Trump's statement is that we don't know for sure if Brady actually voted for Trump, because Brady's wife, Gisele Bundchen, says he didn't.

That being said, we do know that most of Trump's story from Monday night is correct: Trump does have the support of Belichick, and Brady did vote on Monday.

Anyway, most fans are assuming Brady voted for Trump, which has turned Brady's Facebook page into one of the ugliest places on earth.

Here's a small sample of the fans who are lashing out or just plain mad at Brady.

However, it should be pointed out that not everyone is mad at Brady. Some people are thrilled that he maybe voted for Trump.

People who are mad at Brady outnumber the people who are not mad at Brady by a margin of about 2-to-1 right now.

Also, Election Day probably isn't going to be a fun day for the person who's running Brady's Facebook page.

Anyway, the moral of the story here is that let's all thank the ghost of George Washington that this election is going to be over soon.
