The Patriots limped into the postseason -- both figuratively and literally. They lost two straight regular-season games to division opponents, and were without one of Tom Brady's favorite targets, wide receiver Julian Edelman.
But with two weeks off, the Pats are as healthy as they've been in some time, and that includes the return of Edelman, who hasn't played since he broke a bone in his foot on Nov. 15. Also returning: Edelman's impressions, which might be more impressive than his football skills.
Here's Edelman as Brady yelling at Edelman:
"What are we doing?! Jules! JULES! Come on guys, LET'S GO!"
Fantastic.
Edelman also does a pretty good Tom Brady, NFL quarterback, impression. This is from last year's playoff game against the Ravens:
Brady's response (which works best if you hear it in Edelman's voice): "It's not fair when he throws it better than I do," he told NBC's Michelle Tafoya after the game.
Back on Earth, the Patriots host the Chiefs on Saturday in the AFC divisional round.
