Remember, kids, not everything you read on the internet is true! Like the leaked "Color Rush" uniforms from a few days ago which, apparently, were not actually leaked because they aren't actually real.

We know this because 1) they came from an account called @NFL_Leaks and 2) because the Redskins confirmed Thursday they won't be wearing any sort of 'Color Rush' uniforms in 2016.

Speaking on "Redskins Nation," Larry Michael told the world no dice for any all-burgundy getups.

“They are playing a Thursday afternoon on Thanksgiving Day,” Michael said. “They don’t have to wear the 'Color Rush' uniforms.”

The Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys is the only Thursday game for Washington on the year, which means they won't be shoe-horned into the league policy of not catering to the color blind on Thursday nights.

A quick look at the 2016 Thursday Night Football shows just a handful of teams not on the list of those playing in the "Color Rush" uniform games.

The Colts, Steelers, Redskins and Lions are the only teams without a TNF game, and all four of those squads are involved in a Thanksgiving game.

Art Rooney said the Steelers will wear a black-on-black uniform for "Color Rush" purposes, because apparently Thanksgiving night also counts. So the Colts will also be forced to wear them, presumably.

The only teams to escape the "Color Rush" demand are the Redskins and Lions based on these rules, though it wouldn't be stunning to see the teams comply if the NFL asked nicely.
