Russell Wilson and Ciara have been dating for almost a year now. In that time, the two haven't been shy about answering questions related to their sex life, which could possibly be because they don't technically have one.
Back in July, Wilson explained that he and Ciara had made the decision to be abstinent.
"So I met this girl Ciara, who is the most beautiful woman in the world. She's the most kind person, the most engaging person," Wilson said. "I told her right then and there, What would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table and just do it Jesus' way ... Yeah, we're talking about sex."
Don't worry, Wilson has a sense of humor about the subject.
"I need y'all to pray for us," Wilson said.
We haven't really heard Ciara talk about that situation, but that changed this week when she answered a few abstinence-related questions for Cosmopolitan.
First, the Grammy-winning singer was asked how the whole abstinence thing is going.
"It's going pretty good. We're hanging in there," Ciara said. "I'm not gonna lie. I'm human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen -- that I've ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I'm like, Look the other way! Look the other way!"
The advantage of abstinence, at least for Ciara and Wilson, is that they're able to grow as a couple.
"He's such an awesome guy and the cool thing is that every day, we're growing with each other," Ciara said. "We get to have really healthy conversations and focus on each other as people. That is very important to me and him. It's very valuable. We're just enjoying ourselves and going one day at a time and praying and staying positive. Being strong here!"
It's probably tough for Wilson to stay strong, especially if he follows Ciara on Instagram.
