Here's a list of Ravens players trending upward and downward based on recent performance:

Stock Up:

WR Deonte Thompson: Thompson led Baltimore in receiving yards on Thursday, catching three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. He's looked the part of an NFL receiver over the past couple of weeks. He went onto the field with the second team Thursday, which could signify he has an advantage over some of the other rookie wideouts in making the roster.

NT Maake Kemoeatu: The Ravens have been pleased with Kemoeatu's progress this offseason after sitting out 2011. He's positioned himself as a second team player who can add depth along the defensive line. Having weighed in at 415 pounds a year ago, he's slimmed down to 345 and is performing well in practice.

OL Kelechi Osemele: Osemele put in a strong performance in Thursday's game, getting valuable reps with the first team. You'd have to think that once left tackle Bryant McKinnie gets his position back, that Osemele will be a backup. However, he's assured the coaches that he can back up both right tackle and left guard, which could prove valuable this year.

Stock Down:

LB Dannell Ellerbe: Ellerbe had a big chance to solidify himself as a sub package coverage guy. He hasn't done that this season and continues to battle hamstring injuries. Ellerbe's job is probably safe based on numbers at inside linebacker but playing time on passing downs could be in jeopardy.

RB Anthony Allen: Allen had nine yards on five carries against Atlanta. He was outperformed by both Damien Berry and Bobby Rainey in the second half. Allen will still have opportunities in three more preseason games to show he's able to be the No. 2 running back, but with Bernard Pierce back at practice, time could be running out on the former Georgia Tech star.

OL Jah Reid: Reid's calf injury has kept him off the field for all of training camp, which isn't his fault. But this has allowed Osemele to play more and possibly earn a top backup spot at both right tackle and left guard. In order to get back into the conversation, Reid needs to hope his calf gets better and that he can get back onto the football field quick.
