In the final game of the Steelers' season, Antonio Brownwasn't available to help out his teammates after being taken out by a vicious Vontaze Burfict hit during the wild-card round.
The result of Burfict's hit, which gave Brown a concussion, was the Steelers ultimately beating the Bengals. But that hasn't allowed Brown to find any forgiveness for Burfict, who told 93.7 the Fan, a Pittsburgh CBS Sports Radio affiliate, he thinks the linebacker is an "idiot" and that Burfict wants "to kill me."
"I feel like guys don't want to stop me no more," Brown said. "They want to take me out. They want to kill. They want to steal my dreams. They want to ruin me. They want to end me. We're not going to let them. We're going to win more."
Brown isn't forgiving Adam Jones either after the cornerback accused him of faking the injury; obviously it wasn't the case when Brown ended up missing the game.
And he doesn't appreciate people letting Jones speak up in the first place.
"The guy texted me. No reply," Brown said. "I don’t even know why people give him a platform to say something. Ridiculous."
Brown was ruled out Friday before the team's second-round game and said there was never really a shot he would play.
"I didn't have a chance," Brown said. "Doctor Collins did a great job of taking precautions and making sure I was healthy, which was key."
The game was an ugly affair, resulting in almost $600,000 worth of fines being handed out to various players.
And it's clear, even if it's in the past, that the Steelers still haven't forgotten about what happened.
