Camara racked up 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Sunday's 125-103 victory over New Orleans.
Playing in his second season, Camara has been a key part of Portland's rotation early on this season. He's been productive across the board in fantasy leagues as well, posting averages of 9.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers through three games.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Records double-double
Rotowire
Camara notched 15 points (5-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 35 minutes in Wednesday's 111-100 preseason win over Ratiopharm Ulm.
Camara was one of three Portland players who logged more than 30 minutes in this outing, with Scoot Henderson and Rayan Rupert being the others, and he made the most of his time out there. Even though he wasn't particularly efficient, Camara delivered a solid stat line across the board and is showing he's more than ready for the start of the regular season against the Warriors on Oct. 23, regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Efficient in preseason win
Rotowire
Camara scored 13 points (4-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT) while adding a rebound, an assist and two steals across 23 minutes in Sunday's 108-85 preseason win over the Kings.
The Trail Blazers have yet to decide who will open the season in the starting unit, but Camara is trying to make a strong case to earn a role there. That said, he might open the season as the backup to Deni Avdija at small forward regardless of whether Anfernee Simons (ankle) is ready for the season opener on Oct. 23 against the Warriors. Camara started 49 of his 70 regular-season appearances as a rookie in 2023-24 and averaged 7.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.9 steals across 24.8 minutes per game.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Just misses double-double in start
Rotowire
Camara scored 19 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 Ft) while adding nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 31 minutes during Friday's 101-99 preseason loss to the Clippers.
The second-year forward saw a hefty workload in the Blazers' preseason opener with Deni Avdija (personal), Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) and Anfernee Simons (ankle) all unavailable, and Camara took advantage of the opportunity to lead the team in points and boards. Despite the intriguing all-around performance, the 2023 second-round pick will be back on the second unit when the rest of the Portland roster is at full strength.

Camara's point total was third highest on the Blazers and the second highest of his career, trailing just his 18-point performance versus Utah on Dec. 14. The rookie also grabbed 10 boards to record his second double-double of the campaign. This was a strong bounce-back effort for Camara after he averaged just 3.0 points on 27.3 percent shooting over his previous two games.

Trail Blazers' Toumani Camara: Dealing with knee soreness
Rotowire
Camara has some right knee soreness and is questionable for Monday's game versus the Suns.
This is a new injury for the rookie, but he's considered day-to-day. He's coming off one of the best games of his season Friday against the Spurs, as he produced 13 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one three-pointer in 36 minutes. Portland will be missing Anfernee Simons (illness) and Deandre Ayton (knee) again, but Shaedon Sharpe (groin) has been upgraded to questionable.
Camara provided 18 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and six rebounds over 24 minutes during Thursday's 122-114 loss to the Jazz.
Making his 14th straight start, Camara produced his best scoring performance of the season and drained more than two three-pointers in a game for the first time. The 2023 second-round pick has taken advantage of various injuries and absences to remain in the starting five, but he's averaging just 8.4 points, 4.8 boards, 1.1 threes, 1.0 assists and 0.9 steals over that stretch. Camara has proven to be a nice addition to the roster, but he's still far from fantasy relevance in most season-long formats.
Camara accumulated 14 points (6-20 FG, 2-10 3Pt), nine rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Friday's 125-112 loss to the Mavericks.
Camara's presence inside helped what was an otherwise tepid night on the floor for Camara, who absorbed some of Deandre Ayton's (knee) production in the paint. Camara attempted an uncharacteristic 10 attempts beyond the arc with little success, but Jerami Grant's (concussion) absence was the likely reason why Camara was bringing the frontcourt out on the perimeter.
