Preparing for Dwight Howard possibly leaving in free-agency, the Houston Rockets used their second round picks on two centers, Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku and Zhou Qi of China. Neither player will likely be able to duplicate half of what Howard can do, but perhaps the free-throw-challenged Howard can take at least one page out of Onuaku's book.
As a freshman, Onuaku shot 46.7 percent from the line but then started shooting free-throws underhanded as a sophomore and improved to 56.9 percent:
Onuaku's form is a throwback yet it works and if he continues shooting underhanded as a member of the Rockets, he will be the first NBA player to shoot "granny style" since Hall-of-Famer Rick Barry.
