The Yankees outrighted Maciejewski to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday, per MLB.com.
Maciejewski was designated for assignment Sept. 1 but will remain with the organization. The lefty reliever has impressed through four games in the majors this season, posting a 7:2 K:BB while allowing two runs over seven innings. However, he's been much less effective in the minors, registering a 6.25 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 60:24 K:BB across 59 frames between Double-A and Triple-A.

Maciejewski was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Saturday's 9-1 loss to the Rays.
Maciejewski was on the mound for the final three innings of Saturday's defeat, surrendering three hits, including a two-run homer by Randy Arozarena in the top of the seventh. After having his contract selected by the Yankees on June 30, the reliever appeared in three total contests, giving up two runs over six frames.

The Yankees selected Maciejewski's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
The left-hander was up in the big leagues for a few days in April but was quickly removed from the 40-man roster after one scoreless appearance. Maciejewski has a 4.28 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 27:9 K:BB across 27.1 innings at Triple-A this year and will now receive another look with the Yankees.

Less than a week after being selected from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Maciejewski will head back to the minors and lose his roster spot after making just one appearance with the Yankees. The 28-year-old southpaw has not allowed a run and has struck out five batters through 4.2 Triple-A innings.
