  • The Astros have made it clear that Wandy Rodriguez, Brett Myers and Brandon Lyon are available.
  • The team is rebuilding, and is looking to shed payroll and bring in younger players.
  • Houston has been very active at the deadline in recent years. The team traded Roy Oswalt and Lance Berkman in 2010, and parted with Michael Bourn, Hunter Pence and Jeff Keppinger last season.
  • If the Astros do trade away their veterans, they may still to pay some of the remaining money on their contracts.
  • The team doesn't appear to be targeting any specific positions, they are just looking for younger prospects.
