ERIN, Wis. -- Rickie Fowler leads after Round 1 of the 2017 U.S. Open in what was a rough first day for the top 10 golfers in the world (other than Fowler and Sergio Garcia). Fowler will have chasers on Friday, though, and several of the best players on the planet just trying to make the cut.
Fowler's afternoon tee time will presumably be tougher than his Thursday morning one, and his lead will likely have been overtaken by the time he steps to the first tee.
