Neal underwent surgery for a fractured ankle back in December, but he's apparently now healthy enough for football activities again. He's been largely disappointing at right tackle since the Giants selected him with the seventh overall pick in 2022, but he doesn't turn 24 until September, so it might still be too early to declare him a draft bust.... Neal will undergo surgery to repair a fractured ankle, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Neal had been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain in his left ankle and hasn't played since Week 9 against the Raiders. He was recently placed on season-ending injured reserve and will likely spend the first part of the offseason rehabbing. Tyre Phillips has been making starts at right tackle for the Giants....
