Green-Beckham caught one of his two targets for 15 yards in Saturday's quiet preseason opener against the Chargers, but could benefit from a concussion suffered by fellow receiver Tajae Sharpe during the game.
Green-Beckham had been falling behind Sharpe in the competition for the outside spot opposite Rishard Matthews, but could get a golden opportunity to win the job if the rookie fifth-rounder's concussion forces him to miss time. The 6-foot-5 behemoth has all the necessary physical tools to succeed in the NFL, but has been held back by a lack of focus.
