Green, who has not practiced yet in training camp because of recurring headaches, is considering retirement, Mike Florio of NBC Sports reports.
Rumors of Green's headaches have been circulating since the beginning of training camp but have been overshadowed by updates related to his offseason ankle surgery. The combination of the two has raised speculation that the team might release Green, or that he could retire, according to an unnamed member of the Steelers. Neither option bodes well for Green's fantasy value or for the Steelers, who need to replace retired tight end Heath Miller.
