Blount had 22 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Cardinals.
With Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback and the Patriots holding a lead most of the night, Blount took 20+ carries for just the fourth time in his 34 career regular-season appearances for the team. He did lose a fumble in the third quarter to set up an Arizona touchdown, but the miscue didn't impact his workload the rest of the night. James White only had one carry for four yards, albeit with five receptions for 40 yards on seven targets. Both running backs figure to stay heavily involved Week 2 against Miami.
