Whittaker rushed five times for 22 yards, and added five catches for 34 more on six targets in Sunday's 22-10 loss to Minnesota.

Whittaker took a back seat to Cameron Artis-Payne (12 carries for 47 yards), disappointing the many owners who looked his way after a 100-yard performance following Jonathan Stewart's hamstring injury last week. With quarterback Cam Newton also around to vulture short touchdowns like he did from three yards out in this one, Whittaker is unlikely to make much of an impact in the remainder of Stewart's absence.
