Dedmon was recalled from the D-League's Erie BayHawks on Monday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
At Dedmon's request, the Magic sent the big man to the D-League over the weekend to pick up some more playing time. Dedmon thrived in his lone game with Erie, producing 17 points, 22 rebounds, and three blocks over 34 minutes in a loss to the Westchester Knicks on Saturday. Now that he's back with the Magic, Dedmon will reprise his backup role at center behind starter Nikola Vucevic.
