Stauskas was held scoreless (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) in Monday's game against the Mavericks. He saw just 16 minutes of court time.
Though coach Brett Brown reiterated his commitment to Stauskas as his starting shooting guard prior to Monday's game, at the very least, Brown's patience seems to be wearing thin. With Stauskas stuck in a deep shooting slump, the second-year guard has seen his court time fall below 20 minutes in each of his last two games, during which he's fallen completely off the score sheet. Backup shooting guard Isaiah Canaan is battling similar struggles from the field, so Stauskas still may have some time to turn it around, but his stock is clearly on the decline.
