Sano went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a bases-loaded walk in Monday's Opening Day victory over the Royals.
Everyone knows that Sano has monster power, so it's not a huge surprise to see him go deep in the opener. The problem for fantasy owners is that he struck out 36 percent of the time in 2016, which led to a .236 average. Perhaps the bigger surprise is that he avoided striking out Monday. If Sano can somehow make more contact and avoid going down swinging as often, fantasy owners could have a real steal on their hands.
