Brewers' Jeremy Jeffress: Recovering well from hamstring strain

Manager Craig Counsell said Tuesday that Jeffress (hamstring strain) is progressing well in his recovery but did not provide a timetable for a return, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Jeffress tweaked his hamstring over the weekend and the team has since opted to hold him out of bullpen sessions for the time being. He is still expected to miss the Brewers' first few exhibition games, but Counsell's comments Tuesday suggest that the team is merely being cautious with him at this point.
